Artist’s statement
Color has been my living passion for 70 years. In my paintings I use it to express internal conflicts and the complex beauty of nature. In my design work, I use color to enrich and calm interiors with expressive color combinations.
At Sarah Lawrence College, I majored in Studio Art and Art History. My mentors included Kurt Roesch, a colleague of Paul Klee’s, and William Rubin, former curator of MOMA NY.
Color pervades my consciousness and carries me into great experiences.
